Guidant retained the services of Excel Translations to localize its product inserts, packaging, and marketing materials in more than 10 languages. Guidant required a translation vendor that could provide a one-stop solution, including complete graphics and DTP services, and Excel Translations provided a customized solution to accommodate the company's needs. Excel Translations' ISO-certified translation and localization procedures, as well as its experience with highly regulated industries, helped the company provide a unique solution which would meet the language requirements of the European and Japanese markets. The languages include French, Italian, Spanish, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Polish, Hungarian, Greek, and Japanese, with another six languages to be added next year.
